CalloraX Privacy Policy
CalloraX processes contacts, phone numbers, and call history on your device. We do not sell this information or upload it to our servers.
The developer of CalloraX (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how the CalloraX application (package name: com.codesapp.mycall) handles information and how you can manage related permissions. By using the app, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
1. Information We Process
| Information or permission | Purpose | How it is handled |
|---|---|---|
| Contacts: contact identifiers, names, phone numbers, and primary email addresses | Display, search, and select contacts; identify callers; and provide favorites, speed dial, and contact actions | Read and processed locally on your device with your permission; selected favorites and similar content may be saved in the app's private storage |
| Call history and phone state: numbers, contact names, call type, time, duration, SIM or carrier labels, and call status | Provide dialing, recent calls, the incoming-call interface, call screening, and SIM selection | Read and processed locally only after the required system permission or phone-app role is granted |
| Content and settings you provide: favorites, blocked numbers, quick responses, speed dial, simulated-call information, reminder times, theme, ringtone, and wallpaper settings | Save your feature preferences and restore them the next time you use the app | Stored in the app's private storage |
| Images or audio you actively select | Set a local wallpaper or simulated-call ringtone | Accessed through the Android system file picker; the app may retain the selected file's access URI but does not scan other files |
| Camera permission | Control the device flashlight for flash alerts and testing | The app does not capture, save, or upload photos or videos |
| Notification, full-screen notification, and exact-alarm permissions | Display calls, simulated calls, and reminders you schedule | Scheduled and displayed locally on your device |
The app does not require an account and does not actively collect precise location, microphone recordings, text-message content, or photo content. Not all permissions are required. Refusing a permission only disables features that depend on it.
2. How We Use Information
We process information only to:
- provide, maintain, and restore phone, contact, and personalization features you choose to use;
- complete dialing, sharing, messaging, email, or third-party app actions you initiate;
- maintain app stability and security, diagnose faults, and improve the product; and
- comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, or legally binding requests.
3. Third-Party Processing and Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Third-party processing may occur in these circumstances:
- System services or third-party apps you choose: When you send a text message or email, share content, or open WhatsApp or an app store, the selected number and content are passed to the relevant app or service and handled under that third party's privacy policy.
- Legal requirements: We disclose only the information necessary when required by law, to protect user safety, or to defend legitimate rights.
4. Retention and Deletion
- Settings, favorites, numbers, and local records in the app's private storage are generally retained until you delete the relevant content, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.
- System contacts and system call history are managed by Android and your device. Clearing CalloraX data does not delete this system data.
5. Your Choices and Rights
You can:
- grant or revoke contact, call-history, phone, notification, camera, and other permissions in Android system settings;
- remove CalloraX as your default phone or call-screening app;
- change or delete relevant settings and records in the app, or clear all app data through system settings; and
- request access to, correction or deletion of, or restrictions on the processing of your personal information where applicable law provides those rights.
6. Data Security
We use the Android application sandbox, system permission controls, and security measures provided by transmission service providers to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. If a security issue is discovered, we will take remedial and notification measures as required by law.
7. Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. If a higher minimum age applies in your jurisdiction, that local requirement controls. If you believe a minor has provided personal information without a guardian's consent, please contact us so that we can address it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when app features, third-party services, or legal requirements change. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes where required by law and update the date shown on this page.
9. Contact Us
If you have questions, comments, or requests about this policy or our handling of personal information, contact us using the developer contact details published on the store page from which you downloaded CalloraX. Please include “Privacy” in the subject line.
