ChargeScop Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to ChargeScop (package name: com.codesapp.chargemeter, referred to as the "App")
and explains how the App processes information and how you can manage related permissions.
The App does not require account registration, provide Google Sign-In, or integrate Firebase, AdMob, or other advertising SDKs.
1. Information We Process
- Battery and device status: Battery level, charging or discharging status, current, voltage, temperature, battery health, charging source, manufacturer, model, and Android version. This information is used for measurements, widgets, and battery alerts.
- Local settings: Theme, temperature unit, language, alert settings and thresholds, selected manufacturer, onboarding status, and rating prompt status are stored locally on your device.
- Content you choose to share: When you use the sharing feature, the App creates text and a temporary screenshot containing the current battery readings and sends them to the app you select. The receiving app processes that content under its own privacy policy.
2. Permissions and Their Purposes

The App does not request access to contacts, precise location, the camera, or the microphone.
3. Use and Sharing of Information
We use information only to provide App features, deliver alerts you enable, and maintain security and stability. We do not sell or share your personal information except when:
- You use the sharing feature and select another app to receive the content;
- Disclosure is required by applicable law, legal process, or a lawful government request; or
- Disclosure is necessary to protect the lawful rights and safety of users, the public, us, or our partners.
4. Retention and Security
Local settings are normally retained until you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Shared screenshots are stored in the App's cache and may be removed automatically by the system. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no device or storage environment can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
5. Your Choices and Rights
- You may deny or revoke optional permissions such as notifications. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
- You may delete locally stored information by clearing the App's data or uninstalling it.
- To exercise applicable rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of information, contact us using the method below.
6. Children
The App is not specifically designed for children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information where parental consent is required by law. If we discover such information, we will handle it as required by applicable law.
